Ogel to feature on a major BBC TV programme… again!!!

Those of you who are UK based or have access to BBC iplayer might want to tune in to flagship BBC2 programme ‘Your Home Made Perfect’ on Tuesday 11th July at 9pm to 10 pm(also available on BBC iplayer) to see how we use the construction system to build a utility room.

Founder and CEO Gary Giles said “we were approached by the BBC last August to see if we were interested in getting involved in building a specialist room in a house in Croydon, South London and of course we jumped at the opportunity to try something new with our product as we normally only building structures such as garden rooms and offices”.

As most of you know this isn’t OGEL’s first TV appearance, having successfully appeared in BBC1’s Dragons Den two years ago and agreed investment from industry titans Sara Davies and Tej Lalvani.

“The clients Richard and Irene were very keen to use a company with green credentials with minimum disruption to their homelife, and as the product is made from waste polystyrene and was built and fitted out in four days we met both criteria” Gary explained.

Richard Francis was more than happy with the end result and said “The team was professional and efficient throughout the entire process, from initial consultation to final inspection. One of the things that impressed me the most was the company’s commitment to sustainability. The finished product exceeded my expectations in terms of both quality and appearance. It is now a beautiful and functional addition to my home.”

Bespoke garden room design

‘We’re getting quite accustomed to being on the telly though it is weird being recognised which has happened a few times since Dragons Den’ said Gary.
