It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post and there’s loads to tell you! Firstly, what a journey it’s been! From our successful appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den to launching our community-driven crowdfunding campaign.
OGEL is on an exciting trajectory. As I’m writing this we’ve hit £148,000 on our crowdfunding campaign from 400+ investors. I remember when I first thought of this idea after seeing refugees from Syria in Macedonia. This, in turn, made me want to create something that would change the world or at least contribute something amazing… it’s been one heck of a train ride!
For our followers, investors and supporters, I want to tell you that we’re on a growth path and, with our recent ongoing crowdfunding success, I feel I can say with some confidence that we are going to get a good go at our future plans…
In October 2021, OGEL will be commencing our work from home campaign with employers which aims to get employers thinking of the future and investing in their employees. Our solution… the TaskPod.
In November, we’re aiming to commence our Exhibition Shell Scheme Campaign which will bring a new sense of life to exhibiting, not just because companies will be using sustainable material but also because of our bespoke designs that stand out from the crowd.
Towards the end of the year, we also aim to grow our operations by setting up our fabrication facility, which will mean bringing production back to the North East, while also streamlining our operations by making it closer to our Head Office. And less transportation means we’re greener for the environment.
But that’s not all! The team at OGEL is planning an exciting purpose-driven campaign that may involve you! We’ll keep that a secret for now, but it’s a big one!
That’s all for now, folks!
